One hundred and twenty elderly people benefited from an eye camp held in Boudhanath, Kathmandu, on 18th January, 2014. The eye camp was organized by Shenpen in collaboration with Himalayan Roots to Fruits, a local non-governmental organization (NGO) and Professional Support Services Nepal (PSSN), an NGO specializing in eye camps. Out of the one hundred and twenty elderly people who were examined at the camp, ten received surgery, including for cataracts.
