On June 30th, monks from Ka-Nying Shedrub Ling and volunteers from Shenpen went to Pharping to deliver 28 bundles of tin sheets to 28 families in need. Shenpen had received word that even though this area had already received aid, these 28 poor families still had not received anything and were struggling with the monsoon weather.

Then, Shenpen had received word that Shree Seti Devi Secondary School in Pharping was also in need of shelter materials. 325 students there are quite poor and had been living and even studying inside tents, which has been quite difficult for them now that the monsoon season has arrived.

So on July 2nd, monks and volunteers went to Shree Seti Devi Secondary school and brought 9 bundles of tin sheets, 650 notebooks, as well as one pen and box of pencils for each students…and even some treats too!
