Since the beginning of December, parts of Nepal have been forced to deal with unusually cold weather, which many families are unprepared for. According to the Himalayan Times, reports of school aged children struggling to attend school early in the morning due to intense fog and cold temperatures have been coming in.  Some schools have even opted to close for a 70-day hiatus making parents of school aged children worried for their education.

Being able to share warmer clothes with people in affected areas means their commute to and from school and work is safer and less of a challenge.  Shenpen gratefully thanks the entire support team who made this distribution program a successful one.Without the help of these known and unknown supporters, this size of effort would not be possible.
