On Saturday February 22, 2014 we had a dry picnic started at 12:00 from Sanepa to the Godawari. It was around half an hour bus ride from Sanepa to the picnic spot. Kids were involved on different activities while on the bus, some were playing instruments and others were singing songs. The picnic was organized by Papa’s home volunteer Christine Fletcher and Anamika Aryal from Rangjung Yeshe Shenpen, and the whole project was sponsored by C.H.A.N.C.E for Nepal U.K.

I am very much satisfied with the facts that all the kids were very happy. They were screaming and going here and there. Boby seemed very calm and most of the time she was singing, “Phool ko aankha ma fuulai Sansar.”

For a few new members of Papa’s home this was their first outing with the group and they had so many questions about the place, plants and other things.

After returning from the picnic what I learned is you do not need to spend lots of money to make children happy all you have to give is care and extra attention and be with them.
