Following H.E. Chokyi Nyima Rinpoche’s guidance, Shenpen embraced the opportunity to support Jyapu Samaj Jestha Nagarik Aananda Niketan, a significant initiative undertaken by the esteemed local Newars of Patan. This gesture reflects the time-honored bond and connection that exists between the local Newar community in Patan and Ka-Nying Shedrub Ling Monastery.

The auspicious month of Saga Dawa, fondly known as the “Month of Merits,” has always been an emblematic time for acts of kindness and spiritual dedication. On May 29th, 2023, Shenpen decided to magnify the essence of this month by donating the funds needed to provide 25 complete sets of bedding to the old age home. Each set comprises of meticulously chosen items like beds, mattresses, pillows, bed sheets, blankets, carpets, towels, and other pivotal furniture, ensuring the elderly residents receive the warmth and comfort they deserve.
